We are looking for skilled Journeymen who have worked in residential, light commercial and/or heavy commercial markets to join our team to work with the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial cutting-edge equipment. We will equip you with tools and a vehicle to perform your job at the highest standard. Journeyman must be skilled craftsmen in their trade, and we prefer a minimum of five (5) years actual, practical working experience in the HVAC plumbing, pipefitting and/or mechanical equipment service industry. How you will do it: - Adhere to Johnsons Controls industry leading safety program.
- Maintain Customer Relationships though Service Excellence.
- Maintain Customers Systems through Preventative Maintenance Contracts.
- Work with Customers on Service repairs and Solutions.
- Change and Service Filters
- Oil and Grease Bearings
- Perform Belt adjustment and replacement services.
- Perform Cooling Tower and Condenser Maintenance (coils, evaporators, and tubes)
- Perform general housekeeping tasks as required by customer contract.
- Operate mechanical equipment if deemed necessary by customer contract.
- Operate maintenance tasks using basic hand tools as needed.
- Perform Indoor Air Quality related maintenance including but not limited to the cleaning of duct systems and drain pans.
- Transport rigging equipment to and from sites as needed.
- Responsible for servicing product and equipment on luxury yachts and ensuring customer satisfaction. What we look for:
Requirements - Requires Mechanical Journeyperson status
- 5+ years of residential / light commercial /commercial HVAC / mechanical troubleshooting experience.
- Valid driver's license, appropriate licenses to work with refrigerants, boiler and steam operational & service knowledge.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- This is a Bargaining Unit Position.
- The ability to Join union local 400 or be a member in good standing Assets
