We are located about 30 minutes north of Milwaukee. Job Summary The Quality Intern will partner with Operations and Engineering to learn and improve the manufacturing process utilizing lean tools.Primary Duties Include, but are not limited to: - Independently manage assigned projects to closure - Sustain Quality lab 6S score - Develop basic Computer measurement machine (CMM) program - Support daily activities such as, gauge set up, gauge put away, first article inspection, etc. - Help to develop effective QA Process and procedural documents and maintain changes accordingly - Support the quality assurance department including support for quality auditing and maintenance of quality records - Assist team in coordinating with production and product teams to ensure requirements are testable - Record Production and vendor issues and concerns - Conduct incoming and end of line inspection using gauges - Conducts operational inspections and completes reports for entire facility - Assists in identifying potential quality problems, develops and reports on improvement measures, and recommends corrective action - Interact directly with manufacturing.Requirements: Required Skills/Experience - Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university - Current studies in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Chemistry, or related sciences - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate - Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions, with minimal supervision - Impeccable attention to detail - Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Excellent communication & organizational skills $17.00 hour.
