Description: Under general direction, the Business/Technical Analyst will participate in a specific project on a hybrid Active Directory (AD) environment. The goal of the project is to bring the AD environment into compliance to standard, consolidate processes and socialize the AD processes across the organization. The Business/Technical Analyst will be the main resource on the project, performing the following tasks: Analytical Work: - Understanding of active directory account data in order to categorize AD accounts according to client standards.
- Skills in MS Excel or other data analysis tools.
- Ability to document processes using process flow diagrams or other standard methodologies.
- Ability to write standard operating procedures.
- Willingness to work with AD account owners to remediate non-standard AD accounts. Technical Work:
- Deep understanding of service account usage within a global organization.
- Ability to create, change or delete user, shared, resource, service, administrator, and group accounts and roles in active directory (on-premise and Azure we are a hybrid environment).
- Knowledge for performing change and delete in mass is required using scripts or Microsoft tools. General knowledge skills needed:
- Understanding of ITSM processes including service request, incident, change, problem and knowledge management processes is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with other IT teams within client is important in order to remediate non-standard AD accounts.
- Perform weekly progress reporting on project status to manager.
- Be an active member of the IAM (identity and access management) team, sharing project progress at team meetings, participating in operations meeting, and transitioning completed project activities to support. The goal of the project is to ensure that no AD accounts in the future fall out of compliance to standard. Skills and Experience:
