Produce appropriate products required by colleagues by the most cost-efficient means in the e-procurement system. Manage inventory and create procedures to react to purchasing trends. Develop standards, specifications, and technology requirements for designated categories. Provide technical training for other departments as necessary.This person will:--- Perform technical review of category standards, item specifications, material requirements, and design elements for production purposes; maintain technical knowledge of product line.--- Perform RFP exercises and analyze bids for product by comparing all elements associated with cost and production process. Work with customer to source the most cost-effective solution for our needs and technology compatibility.--- Perform project management duties for designated jobs.--- Maintain product line within the e-procurement system and manage inventory levels for custom items, working with warehouse to track usage and trends.--- Manage inventory levels for all items if applicable and interact with warehouse to keep inventory levels accurate in order system, track usage and trend information.--- Perform vendor management due diligence for designated category suppliers.--- Negotiate, manage, and report on designated category contracts for cost savings/reductions by evaluating competing suppliers, prices, delivery, service, and trends. Prepare for renewals and extensions, where needed, to maintain uninterrupted and cost-effective sources for products and services. Execute contracts utilizing DocuSign.Review the qualifications listed below:Education - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Business or Supply Chain Management. Required.Experience
