Sentry Insurance is looking for the best! Our Captain - Corporate Aviation is responsible for safely transporting passengers to the appropriate destination. We are looking for someone with a strong background in aviation, excellent communication and decision-making skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our clients. The position is based at Central Wisconsin Airport KCWA. This position is non commutable. G500 F2000LXSWhat You'll Do: - Assure a safe flight of Corporate Passengers to their destination.
- Maintain high safety standards for the best possible aircraft performance.
- Maintain responsibility for the conduct of flights.
- Oversee crewmembers assigned to flights.
- Oversee the aircraft's operational efficiency in regard to time and cost.
- Handles all weather problems safely and efficiently (i.e., destination changes, delay in departures or arrival, flight cancellations).
- Plan all domestic flights which include the following: arranging for fuel, checking airport adequacy, confirming catering needs, cleaning and stocking the aircraft.
- Plan for international flights which includes obtaining over flight permits, checking entry requirements for private aircraft and passengers coming into foreign countries, responsibility for international air regulations (ICAO), and arranging ground handling i.e., passenger handling for Customs, aircraft service requirements, transportation of passengers, etc.
- Adheres to and operates within established IS-BAO and industry safety policies and practices. -
- Attends requisite safety training.What it Takes:
- - -Associate's degree or equivalent work experience, Bachelor's degree preferred
- - -GVII / DA-2EASY or similar large cabin type rating preferred
- - -5-8 years of related work experience
- Airline transport pilot rated, has four thousand hours of flight time and adequate turbo jet flight time as determined by the Aviation Manager.
- Experience with all weather conditions.
- Experience with international flying
- Type rating in the company aircraft preferred or equivalent experience in similar aircraft type(s)
- Ability to pass annual FAA First Class Medical Examinations.
- Possess a valid U.S. passport.
- Ability to obtain AED/CPR and In-flight Injury and Illness Certifications, and able to handle in-flight emergencies.
- Strong organizational, communication, and human relations skills are required.
- Attend and successfully complete annual recurrent training and FAA proficiency checks for all aircraft to which you are assigned.
- Complete knowledge of federal aviation regulations governing domestic and international flights and of the aircraft's systems in order to take accurate corrective action in dealing with any malfunction.
