  Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
  Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years
  Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years

  Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 email
  We are only permitted to submit 2 candidates per opening, if the position is at max, we will hold on to the submission if a spot opens up

  # beds 21- Beds (7 rooms are private, 7 are semi-private)
  Certs BLS is Required - ACLS is preferred
  Ratios 1:5-6 for both shifts (Days is usually 1:5, sometimes nights is closer to 1:5)
  EMR EPIC
  Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Charge Nurse 24/7 - (Charge Nurse on days assists with admissions & discharges from 7a-7p. Charge Nurse on nights typical charge duties)
  Nurse Aides PCT
  Weekend Requirement Every-other-weekend - Nights is Fri/Sat/Sun & Days Sat/Sun
  Holidays Travelers would be expected to work holidays as needed, based off the needs of the unit (If mgr has enough staff then travelelrs own't
  Scrub Color Navy blue - navy or white jacket - undershirt white or navy - hair must be natural hair color (no pink or blue). Excessive or distasteful tattoos must be covered
  Tele Yes - monitored remotely
  Nurse's Read Strips? No, but must have basic arrythmia knowledge & be able to recognize fatal rhythms - perm staff read strips
  Drips Only IV gtts would be Heparin or Protonix. Not titrating gtts or cardiac gtts
  Vents Bipap, Cpap, High Flow
  Hospitalist or Intensivist in house Hospitalist in house 24/7
  IV Team No IV Team - B-Braun
  RT 24/7 RT is in-house 24/7
  Pharmacy 24/7 Pharmacy is in-house 24/7 - Omnicell
  Shifts "12's 7-730 for both day or night shifts (she is open to 8 hr shifts - some of the staff do 8's)
  Use Kronos to enter schedule requests then the clinical coordinator enters & manager approves, at least 2 weeks in advance for 4 weeks at a time. Will allow block scheduling if in the contract. Nights is usually blocks. Sun - Sat (confirm if same as ICU) staff enters their own reyuest & mgr finalizee scyhe block if works out "
  Floating Any MedSurg. The only units they would not float to would be ED or Behavioral Health
  Floor specific orientation 1 Shift w/ a preceptor (Net Learning Modules & EPIC)
  Common diagnosis / Types of patients Totals, spines, occ burr holes, seizures, cranies, brain stim, Traction on nights for hips, Bucks traction, MedSurg Overflow
