We focus on cutting-edge R&D in areas like multi-modal understanding, vision and language, foundation models, audio/music understanding and generation with an emphasis on content creation. We are currently seeking a talented Research Head to lead our dynamic team, driving pioneering advancements at the intersection of multimodality, computer vision, natural language processing, and content creation technologies.Responsibilities- Lead innovative research initiatives in computer vision and natural language processing.- Increase research visibility by publishing outcomes in academic journals and conferences.- Connect research findings with practical applications, integrating advancements into existing products.- Mentor and guide team members, fostering professional growth and collaboration.Qualifications- Strong background in computer vision and natural language processing, specializing in multi-modal understanding, vision-language fusion, large-scale dataset handling, language model application, and audio/music understanding/generation.- Preferably with notable publications in prestigious conferences/journals like CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, EMNLP, ACL, COLING, showcasing significant contributions to the field.- Demonstrated leadership ability and collaboration skills.- Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas.- Capability to set strategic research directions aligned with organizational objectives.TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
