LAUNDRY ATTENDANT / KITCHEN NIGHT CLEANER
The Crowne Plaza Seattle Airport is seeking a Laundry Attendant/Kitchen Night Cleaner to join our team. This position is a dual position opportunity. The Laundry Attendant maintains daily availability of clean linens for housekeeping department ensuring all linen is in good condition and free from stains. The Kitchen Night Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the kitchen and all related equipment and appliances in order to meet high standards of quality and safety.

            QUALIFICATIONS:
            Knowledge of:
            
            
            
            
            • Laundry processes.
              
            • General cleaning principles, safe use of cleaning products, and operation of standard cleaning and laundry equipment.
              
            • Knowledge of chemical agents, and operation of various cleaning equipment.
              
            • Basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand information such as safety labels and instructions.
              
              
              Skills and Ability to:
              
              
              
              
              • Understand and follow directions and perform job functions under limited supervision.
                
              • Communicate effectively with guests and co-workers in order to accurately receive and convey information.
                
              • Physical strength and manual dexterity to operate necessary equipment and perform required duties.
                
              • Meet attendance requirements with dependability and consistency.
                
              • Manage one's time in order to meet productivity standards.
                
              • Work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
                
              • Maintain a neat and clean appearance to represent the hotel positively.
                
                
                Education and Experience:
                
                
                
                
                • Six months previous laundry and/or commercial kitchen cleaning experience preferred.
                  
                  
                  
                  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
                  Medium Work: Exerting up to 50/100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
                  
                  Position requires frequent standing and physical activities that require considerable use of arms and repetitive motions.
                  
                  Lifting may include furniture weighing up to 100 lbs. May need to climb ladders to heights of 5 feet.
                  
                  
                  
                  Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, reach, push, pull, lift, grasp, see and perform repetitive motions as required by job.
