- Tuition discounts through Rasmussen UniversityRegistered Nurses (RN) Position Details:Type: 20 or 8 weeks contractShift Start Time: Night 4x12-HoursLocation: Seattle, WAAs a Registered Nurse, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:
- Provide compassionate and specialized care to oncology patients throughout their treatment journey.
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other medications following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Monitor patients closely for any signs of adverse reactions to treatment and provide immediate interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with oncologists, hematologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about cancer, treatment options, potential side effects, and symptom management.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, document conditions, and report any significant changes in the patient's condition to the healthcare team.
- Participate in research activities, including clinical trials, and assist with the coordination of innovative therapies such as CAR-T cell therapy and Stem Cell Transplantation.
- Provide care to patients with a wide range of oncological conditions, including but not limited to Leukemia, Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma (MM), and various solid tumors.
