We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our Housekeeping team as a Laundry Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all towels, sheets, and linens are properly cleaned, and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.Position information: PM Part-Time position, 16.28 hourly rateResponsibilities:Sort and prepare laundry for cleaning, operating washers, dryers, and finishing equipment.Fold, count, and distribute clean linens to appropriate storage areas.Collect and deliver full laundry bins to and from storage rooms.Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage rooms and laundry facilities.Clean and maintain laundry machinery according to prescribed procedures.Assist with inventory management of table linens and room linens.Ensure proper handling and usage of cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety regulations.Report any necessary repairs or maintenance issues to the designated manager.Deliver towels, blankets, pillows, and other items to guests upon request.Assist with answering incoming telephone calls.Greet and provide excellent service to all guests.Respond promptly to guest and management requests.Maintain a neat and organized work area at all times.Conduct yourself in a professional manner, reflecting the hotel's values.Ensure a safe working environment and report any unsafe conditions immediately.Foster positive working relationships with colleagues across all departments.Comply with all policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook.Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:Previous experience in a hotel laundry or housekeeping role is preferred.Knowledge of chemical handling and operation of industrial laundry machines.Ability to work any day of the week and any hour, as required.Capability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to receive and follow both verbal and written instructions accurately.Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.We encourage you to apply for this Housekeeping Laundry Attendant position.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will be considered for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, creed, gender, national origin, age, disability, marital or veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other legally protected status.
