IT Application Development-Journey Job ID: 13489 Location: Bellevue College Full/Part Time: Full Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Position Summary Reporting to the Director of Integration, the IT Application Developer - Journey is responsible for building and maintaining Bellevue College's website platform (including custom themes, plugins, and other integrations), establishing, guiding, and enforcing adherence to best practices, and identifying, prioritizing, and implementing systems and features that enhance the college web experience. The IT Application Developer assists IT Leadership in defining technical standards for enterprise level site management, and ensures that the college's website systems are maintained at a high standard. The IT Application Developer works closely with the Institutional Advancement division to assist in ensuring a high-quality user experience across the Bellevue College website, including the appropriate maintenance of public information and adherence to accessibility and security regulations. The position is expected to establish and maintain good working relationships with campus website managers and other website stakeholders across campus, and serve as a subject-matter-expert (SME) for administrators, staff and faculty. The IT Application Developer position contributes to the college mission by ensuring the accessibility and usability of the college website by monitoring for and addressing issues of accessibility (a11y) conformance and compliance across the website and other web-based platforms, as well as facilitating college recruitment and retention goals through a usable and compelling online presence. Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule Position Salary Range: $83,256/year - $111,972/year The salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The salary will be determined based on candidate's qualifications and related experience, as well as market and business considerations. Individuals newly hired to Classified position are placed in a salary range based on the WPEA Collective Bargaining Agreement. We offer comprehensive compensation package with salary and benefits as the main components. Competitive salary is within the Range stated above, and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
