The position is for an experienced Contract professional to work directly with the Contracts Executive Council (CEC), the Inc. Contracts Learning and Development (L&D) Committee, BAE Systems plc Commercial representatives, and other senior leadership at BAE Systems.Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and attends Inc. level bid reviews, CEC meetings and all Contracts functional events;
• Works closely with the Inc. Contracts L&D Committee to recommend and deliver various training programs and workshops for the Contracts function;
• Responsible for leading FAR council associated with coordinating with various other internal BAE functions on future and current legislative/regulatory changes;
• Inc. Approval Management (RBAs, ITTs, ALCAs, etc.);
• Inc. representative on the Inc. Contracts Learning & Development Committee;
• Drafting and distributing Inc. Contracts communications and correspondence for the Vice President of Contracts;
• Serve as the internal and external point of contact for contracts inquiries regarding BAE Systems, Inc.;
• Responsible for coordinating/analyzing all data requests with the various sector Contract Leads and sector Contract Ops Leads.**This role is posted with a Falls Church location; however, the team is open to candidates currently residing near major airports across the United States.**Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor Degree with 12+ year's relevant defense industry experience;
  • Active Secret Clearance;
  • Contract management experience on complex programs;
  • Proven ability to understand, interpret & improve a company's policies and procedures;
  • Working to excellent knowledge of corporate policies and procedures, coupled with ability to identify required improvement to established policies and to communicate implementation procedures to others;
  • Good presentation, leadership and management skills. Use of independent judgment and creativity applied to resolution of contract issues;
  • Excellent organizational agility and business acumen skills;
  • Emerging ability to excel in upper-level management environment;
  • Demonstrated ability for process improvement;
  • Attention to detail.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
    • Master's Degree;
    • Lean Six Sigma Certification or equivalent experience;
    • Top Secret clearance.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $128100 - $217800Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
