OverviewTo research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain system and product solutions, applying knowledge of engineering principles. To provide technical direction and engineering support for projects and infrastructure. Develop and maintain working knowledge of evolving IT engineering industry technologies/competition, concepts and trends.ResponsibilitiesAssist in implementing and maintaining a Continuous Integration SolutionEnsure comprehensive test coverage by working closely with the product and engineering teams to prioritize testing execution and report on test execution progress and results.Support projects autonomously from start to finishPromote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices.Full life-cycle project managementEstablish and lead project teamsDevelop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communicationsProcure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/qualityRisk, Issue and Change managementEnsure successful project implementationScope of responsibilityApply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing systemsDocument new system components, or modifications to existing componentsEnsure the security and integrity of system and product solutions including compliance with Navy Federal, industry engineering and Information Security principles and practicesPerform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needsPerform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systemsPresent clear, organized and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisionsPerform other duties as assignedEstablish and lead project teamsDevelop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communicationsProcure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/qualityRisk, Issue and Change managementEnsure successful project implementationScope of responsibilityQualificationsSignificant experience in API/Service testing (SOAP/REST)Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, SAFE AGILE MethodologyExperience with web service technology like XML, REST, SOAPExpertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy, Test Cases Design, Test Data Setup & Defect ManagementSignificant experience with Soap Protocols, Rest APIs, RAML/OpenAPI spec, CICD pipelines, HTTP request, JSON format, and MulesoftSignificant experience with the following tools: Azure DevOps (ADO, ADO ATP), Postman, Newman, SOAPUI, Database Query toolsFamiliarity with engineering disciplineEffective database and presentation software skillsEffective organizational, planning and time management skillsEffective research, analytical, and problem solving skillsEffective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisionsEffective verbal and written communication skillsEffective word processing and spreadsheet software skillsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experienceHours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PMLocation: (This role will follow our hybrid work schedule candidate will need to be located within a commutable distance to one of the below locations)820 Follin Lane, Vienna, VA 22180 - 5510 Heritage Oaks Drive Pensacola, FL 32526 - 141 Security Drive Winchester, VA 22602About UsYou have goals, dreams, hobbies, and things you're passionate aboutwhat's important to you is important to us.
