Seneca Technologies is seeking a Application Engineer in Norfolk, VA The objective of this work is to analyze and study complex system requirements by utilizing research, discovery and developmentfundamentals. Design software tools and subsystems to support software reutilization, domain analysis,and implementation management. Manage software development and support using formal specifications,data flow diagrams, CASE tools, or other accepted design techniques. Estimates software developmentschedules, reviews existing programs through RDT&E, and assists in making refinements, reducingoperating time, and improving current techniques. Minimum/General Experience - A minimum of eight (8 years) experience, of which at least three (3) years must be specialized.
- Specialized experience includes: IT systems analysis and programming.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work independently or under only general direction.
- Active Secret clearance is required
Minimum Education - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, or other
- closely related scientific or technical discipline. With a Master's degree (in the fields described above)
