Overview GovCIO is currently hiring for a Automation/QA Tester to support the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) to support two critical initiativesaimed at modernizing and upgrading core document management systems including IBM FileNet and integrating new document management technologies such as IBM DataCap, Microsoft Dyanmics, and Sharepoint. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in testing and quality assurance, with a strong background in testing MS Dynamics and Java/Oracle-based applications. Additionally, experience in test case development, automation using tools like Selenium, and familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps pipeline, and QA frameworks is essential. This position will be a fully remote position. Responsibilities -
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases in ADO. -
Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of MS Dynamics and Java/Oracle-based applications. -
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium in ADO, ensuring efficient test execution and coverage. -
Conduct regression testing, performance testing, and security testing to identify and address any issues or defects. -
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives. -
Work closely with developers and stakeholders to identify and resolve defects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software. -
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains. -
Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous testing throughout the development lifecycle. -
Provide regular status updates and reports on testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders. -
Support the entire software development lifecycle, including testing, implementation, and maintenance, while upholding high software quality standards. -
Support change management as needed to help PBGC employees adapt to new technologies and application updates. Qualifications Required Skills and Experience -
Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. -
5-8 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a focus on MS Dynamics and Java/Oracle-based applications. -
Proficiency in test case development, execution, and automation using tools like Selenium in ADO. -
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams. -
Familiarity with DevOps practices and experience with CI/CD pipelines. -
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. -
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills and Experience |
