Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Configuration Management Compliance Technician (Required: Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly).
Position Type: Full Time Contract
As a Configuration Management Compliance Technician , you will:
Manage the IT-IA-IM baseline configuration for all-project related work for project oversight as well as office-level oversight and control.
Develop policies for documenting and changing baseline project configuration items and processes.
Participate in the evaluation of new network technologies and make recommendations to the network architecture team regarding the integration of these technologies into the existing network.
Utilize complex network analysis tools to assist in identifying and remediating vulnerabilities throughout enterprise level services.
Monitor security posture of the network using network compliance tools, report suspected violations to designated teams for mitigation.
Support Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities and administer networks including hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations; providing training on such activities where required.
Monitor the performance of compliance and auditing of network management systems to include troubleshooting device and network issues.
Configure network devices using management tools and command line interfaces to ensure they follow DISA STIG guidelines.
Interface with and coordinate work taskings through customer managed ticket system.

Functional knowledge of MS Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Functional understanding of networking Operating Systems (OS) such as Cisco and Juniper.
Familiar with terminal emulators, serial console, and network file transfer applications such as PuTTY, Xterm, WinSCP.
Have a working knowledge of complex routing protocols such as Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Border Gate Protocol (BGP), Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), etc.

Familiarity with Atlassian Confluence team collaboration applications.
Be familiar with applications related to network and topology mapping.
Previous Experience with STIG Viewer and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) tools.

This equates to a Doctorate and 3 years of experience OR Masters and 4 years, bachelor's and 6 years, Associates and 8 years or HS and 10 years.
Must comply with DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.
