Seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to our client, a distinguished organization in the metro D.C. area. This individual will manage multiple administrative tasks and department projects independently. The A.A must understand the day to day responsibilities, requirements and priorities of the company. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, enthusiastic, and able to support cross-functional management in a sometimes fast paced environment



Job Duties

Perform a variety of administrative and clerical support duties for assigned supervisor, manager or staff member

Answer telephone, screening and directing calls;

Prepare formal correspondence and recurring reports;

Create and/or modify documents using Microsoft Office;

Provide data entry support;

Receive and sort mail and deliveries;

Schedule appointments; organize staff meetings, board meetings, etc.

Manage travel arrangements as directed



Qualifications

Bachelor?s Degree in a related field

A minimum of two years? experience providing administrative support

Highly dependable and reliable with regard to work schedule and meeting project deadlines

Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage numerous projects

Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Proven ability to handle confidential material

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Able to work in a team environment and independently

Able to travel if necessary
