This is a remote position. This position is contingent upon contract award. What You Will Do -
Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators. -
Duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space. -
Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. -
Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. -
Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards. -
Full knowledge of industry practices. -
Independently demonstrates the skill and ability to perform fairly complex professional tasks. -
Problem Solving: Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies. What You Must Have -
Candidate must have either: -
Six (6) years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; -
Or four (4) years relevant experience with Masters in related field; -
Or High School Diploma or equivalent and ten (10) years relevant experience. -
Candidate must have extensive knowledge of basic concepts and processes and experience applying these with only periodic high-level guidance. -
Candidate must be able to perform successfully in non-routine and sometimes complicated situations. -
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen -
