Azure Cloud Engineer
POSITION LOCATION
Richmond, VA
YOUR ROLE
As a member of the Cloud Engineering Team, you'll influence design, implementation, and support of Cloud based solutions (with a focus on Azure) while also playing a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing technology solutions across our cloud and on-premise ecosystem.
What you will be doing - Cross-training other team members on best practice, standards, and secure implementation of Azure tools and services
- Primary point of contact for Azure-based solution delivery
- Work with cross functional IT Teams to deliver best in class Cloud/Azure solutions
- Driving adoption, automation, and optimization of new & existing technologies that support DevSecOps paradigms
- Building IT solutions on high performance, scalable, and flexible infrastructure on premise and in the cloud (Kubernetes; AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Aiding developer and business stakeholders in the efficient design and secure use of in-scope tools and solutions
- Developing repeatable infrastructure-as-code automation via Terraform
- Supporting existing DevSecOps tools and continuously refining our ecosystem to meet emergent customer needs What you bring

- In-depth Azure expertise
- A demonstrated background in process improvement, automation, and support in a highly regulated, enterprise environment
- 5+ years in architecture and/or cloud-native roles
- Background working with and developing Infrastructure-as-code for cloud services, specifically using Terraform
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with DevSecOps paradigms (i.e., CI/CD, automated deployments, Kubernetes, containerization, etc...)
