Our client is in need of someone with a strong UXbackgroundResponsibilities may include:--- Perform website development and operations and maintenance (O&M) on internal communications platforms (e.gJoomla, Talkabout, Wordpress, and SharePoint).--- Manage website content and enable access to internal communication platforms (e.gjoomla, Talkabout, SharePoint, and blogs).--- Engage on interactive and website development projects and provide recommendations on multimedia/communications design, content, and features based on the target consumer audience(s).--- Conduct focus groups and user testing to define requirements--- Develop interactive website conceptual wireframes and prototypes--- Design user interfaces (UI)--- Conduct website usability, accessibility, and functionality testing--- Gather periodic website metrics--- Rebuild Flash-based interactive elements.--- Monitor websites for up-to-date content and make recommendations for areas of content update and renewalWork products should be written in clear, plain, simple, concise, accurate language and be reviewed for spelling and grammarQualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS--- Certification (or degree preferred) in design, arts, technology, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or other related business or human-computer interaction discipline is required--- Minimum 2 years of experience in digital design, UI/UI design, or software product design--- Experience with applications for design, wireframing, prototyping, generating icons, etc.--- Strong portfolio of previous web and/or mobile work--- A working knowledge of Design Thinking or Human Centered Design processes--- An understanding of UX principles, patterns, and practices--- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS--- Basic knowledge of JavaScript--- Preferred UX-related certification(s), such as those offered through Nielson Norman Group, GeneralAssemb.ly, Human Factors International, or LUMA Institute--- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required More...
