    InSite -Chemists perform a wide range of tasks, including: -
    
    --- Make waste pickups at labs as needed. -
    
    
    --- Prepare computer-generated packing lists, labels, manifests, and land disposal restrictions notifications.
    
    
    --- Identify unknown laboratory chemicals when they are encountered.
    
    
    --- Perform inspections of staging, accumulating and storage areas to ensure proper housekeeping procedures and compliance.
    
    
    --- Inspect storage area for leaks or spills. -
    
    
    --- Inspect drums for compliance with labeling regulations. -
    
    
    --- Collect, segregate, and properly package waste chemicals for disposal to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance. -
    
    
    --- Sampling and profiling of new waste streams or any wastes needing analytical testing. -
    
    
    --- Prepare all necessary tracking paperwork. -
    
    
    --- Utilize CHOICE waste management software to efficiently and accurately manage waste program. -
    
    
    --- Assign proper waste codes to all materials that are designated for disposal. -
    
    
    --- Maintain and manage waste profile data.
    
    
    --- Evaluate specialty waste materials such as gas cylinders and potentially explosive compounds and determine disposal options. -

    Other Duties as Assigned
    What does it take to work for Clean Harbors? -
    
    
    
    • High School -diploma; -
      
    • Valid driver's -license; -
      
    • Hold or willing to obtain a -CDL Class -B; -
      
    • Prior chemical handling experience or chemistry knowledge -preferred; -
      
    • BS/BA in Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Science a plus;
      
    • Willingness to complete a -background check, drug test, and physical. -
