This is a full-time night shift position (3 x 12-hour shifts/week). We are offering a sign on bonus of up to $20k as well as relocation assistance for eligible nurses!The *Intensive Care Unit* at Fair Oaks Hospital is a 12-bed unit with a patient population that includes, but not limited to, end-stage disease processes, sepsis, post-partum emergencies, respiratory failure, post-operative care and others that require more intensive nursing care. This patient population requires care from nurses that have successfully completed the critical care fellowship and/or have experience caring for the critically ill patient population. Demonstrating s willingness to learn under the direct supervision of an experienced RN and through various other training formats is required.Additional Requirements:* minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.BSN or AD Required* Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing.* If RN has an associate degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.* RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN* BLS for Healthcare Provider certification is required from the American Heart Association* Strong verbal and written communication skills.* Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others.* Proficient computer skills required.About Inova Health SystemInova is Northern Virginias leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
