Registered Nurse - PACU PRN Tier I (Minimum 1 shift/pay period, 1 weekend shift/call per month, holidays on rotation basis) ***Must have 18 months RN hospital experience to participate in PRN*** - Position Summary: - Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process - in accordance with -applicable scope and standards - of practice. - Provides -postoperative nursing care. - Safely and adequately provides and - utilizes -equipment and supplies based on unique patient need. - Uses electronic nursing documentation for charging patient supplies per department policy and procedure. - Evaluates patient outcomes. - Documents patient care given. - Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as - appropriate to -care team, physician, patient, and family. - Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, - referral -and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. - Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and - provides -patient/family education - appropriate to -age, culture, condition, and circumstances. - Assesses the physiological and psychosocial needs of the patient and works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. - Who We Are: - People are our passion and purpose. -Come - work -where you are appreciated for who you are not just what you can do.
