REMOTE Authorization Specialist - Montpelier Vermont

The applicant can sit out of any state / location and will be working an East-Coast, first shift schedule.

REQUIREMENTS:

Associate\'s Degree
2+ years\' experience working within a health care, managed care, or community based service delivery role.
Experience in LTSS Strongly Preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Conduct clinical decision review for services requiring prior authorization
Interpret Clinical criteria to determine medical necessity of services
Communicate results of review verbally, in medical record, and through official written notifications to primary care team, specialty providers, vendors and members
Work closely with clinicians, medical staff and peer reviewers

SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday: 8:30a - 5:00p EST
