The patient population consists of cardiac, neurological, medical, and surgical patients. This position allows for future professional growth by teaching the fast-paced atmosphere of an ER while strengthening critical skills in a medical/surgical setting. Ideal for candidates who possess strong time management skills, work well in a team -paced settings.Additional Requirements:* *Work schedule*: Full Time; Days or Nights (3- 12 hours shifts)* *Requirements: *Requires a minimum of 1-year Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting* *Minimum Education Requirement:* BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required.* *Minimum Licensure/ Certification Requirement*:* Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or hold a privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).* Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start.About Inova Health SystemInova is Northern Virginias leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
