By gathering information about an adversary's intentions, strengths, vulnerabilities, and capabilities, the military can plan, prepare, and defend against potential attacks. As a Human Intelligence Collector in the Army National Guard, you will earn a security clearance, then utilize your strategic, cognitive, and language skills to obtain Intel from both friendly and hostile sources. Your duties may include conducting intelligence gathering missions involving human sources; interrogating and debriefing, as defined by regulation, as well as other tactical and strategic interrogation-related duties; developing intelligence gathering and collection missions as well as interrogation plans; advising military organizations based on intelligence gathering; and coordinating with federal agencies.
