Be part of the mission to deliver exceptional personalized care within our Magnet-designated, Top 10 Massachusetts recognized 229-bed hospital. As a Clinical Lead Nurse for our Emergency Room Team, you will be responsible for the following: - Works collaboratively with the nurse manager/director in the planning and implementing of patient care and performance improvement for a specific unit. -
- Demonstrates clinical expertise in the assigned area and fosters a climate of clinical and professional excellence.
- Promotes patient care continuity and enhances patient throughput.
- Functions effectively in patient crisis situations. - Coordinates the triage, stabilization and/or transfer of patients to the appropriate level of care. - Supports staff, patients and others as workload increases and effectively redirects staff to increase productivity.
- Responsible and accountable for the day to day operational decision making, and oversees the Registered Nurses and ancillary staff in the performance of their daily duties.
- Develops and promotes collaborative and collegial relationships with physicians and interdepartmental personnel in order to enhance patient care and patient flow.
- Mentors, coaches, and directs personnel to ensure provision of effective and safe patient care according to established standards of care.Qualifications:
