Reports to: Staff PharmacistMinimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent - RequiredRequired SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. WV State licensed Pharmacy Technician. If not licensed, employee must obtain WV State Pharmacy Technician Trainee license prior to hire and complete our 500 hour on-the-job training program. Trainee must WV State Pharmacy Technician license within 90 days of completing the program.WV State Pharmacy Intern license is acceptable in lieu of technician or trainee license.PTCB certification preferred.Minimum Work ExperiencePrevious experience in pharmacy or another medically related field preferred. Demonstrated willingness to perform routine repetitive tasks on a continuous basis and maintain a neat and orderly work area.
