Engineering Documentation Coordinator - Orchard Park New York

Summary: Create and maintain engineering documents including drawings, specifications and engineering change control records. Coordinate storage and retention of engineering reports and records.

Essential Functions

**Facilitate the Engineering change process, including:

--- Document preparation - assemble, check, and compile all ECO documents for review board.

--- ECO meeting ownership - control frequency of meetings, add or subtract meetings as needed.

--- Manage ECO expedite requests.

--- Conduct ECO meeting.

--- Track and maintain ECOs not signed at ECO meetings - monitor progress and resubmit when incomplete elements are completed.

--- Conduct ECO SAP release Activity.

--- Maintain ECO database.

--- Release drawings, update drawings in storage locations, obsolete drawings as needed.

--- File ECOs and related materials, manage ECO file retention.

- Maintain product configuration and revision control (drawings, bills of materials) using PDM Vault and SAP. Use redline and ECO process to release and update drawings.

- Coordinate storage and retention of engineering reports and records.

- Generate, modify, and check drawings, assign part numbers, perform revision control in compliance with the requirements of the Curbell Quality Management System.

- Prepare sketches, drawings, and solid models to describe products, tooling and processes in support of products designed by and for Curbell.

- May act as lead for a product, producing the following outputs during product development: concept layouts (2D and 3D), purchased part specifications and control drawings, detailed mechanical part drawings, electrical schematics, assembly drawings and exploded views.
