Unit Description: Provides professional nursing care to patients in varying state of health and illness by assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing plan of care. - The Staff Nurse II functions as an essential member of nursing and multidisciplinary teams, providing direct patient care, instruction, and preparation for continuing care after discharge. - May take charge as operational need allows. A minimum of three-hundred (300) hours per calendar year. The total hours must include a minimum of one (1) eight-hour holiday shift per calendar year.
