The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and must be proficient at preparing and presenting technical presentations to senior staff, and clients. Experience with developing and preparing technical reports with supporting graphics.Other responsibilities include developing work scopes and cost estimates, implementing, directing, and overseeing soil, groundwater and vapor intrusion investigations, data management and evaluation.Requirements: A bachelor's degree in the physical or natural sciences, engineering, or geology is required; an MS degree (or higher) with multi-disciplinary technical background and interest in continued cross-training is preferred 5+ years experience in the environmental consulting industry Knowledgeable and proficient in NJDEP statutes and regulations (e.g., SRRA/LSRP, ARRCS and TRSR), associated technical guidance documents, regulatory timeframes, documentation/reporting requirements, and SRP regulatory formsExperience with: remedial investigations and design and implementation of remedial actionsStrong emphasis on excellent technical writing skills - clear and concise presentation of complex informationHighly organized with excellent interpersonal communication skillsConscientious, dedicated, hard-working, committed to excellence and exceptional client serviceA professional license such as P.G., P.E., and/or LSRP, or the academic qualifications and commitment to obtain such licensure is a plusCandidate must have valid driver's license and auto insurance, plus 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and annual 8-hour refresher trainingWilling to travel to job sites as needed About Us:ELM's corporate philosophy asserts that individual employee accomplishments translate into success for -ELM -and our corporate clients. -ELM -fosters a collaborative and supportive work environment, where all employees can pursue their personal and professional goals, while maintaining a work/life balance.
