We are looking for a Customer Service Representative in Somersworth, NH who will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth operations. You will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, managing shipments, and supporting sales efforts. Customer Service Responsibilities:
- Obtain accurate information from customers regarding shipment dates and expected delivery.
- Monitor customer scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as necessary.
- Gather and assess all relevant information to address inquiries and complaints effectively.
- Communicate unexpected changes in product demand to the purchasing department.
- Establish and maintain organized customer files.
- Process customer transactions, including orders, quotes, and returns, with precision.
- Provide timely product and technical information to generate new and repeat sales.
- Generate reports for sales, invoicing, credits, postings, accounting, and production.
- Participate in weekly planning meetings with production to optimize delivery dates and revenue plans. Customer Service Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Proficient in administrative procedures.
