The Laboratory Technician will obtain and test all products manufactured by Superior Dairy in adherence to the sampling plans. He or she must aseptically perform microbiological tests, read the results, and report these appropriately. He or she will also analyze products for analytical accuracy in adherence to Superior Dairy, customer, and legal specifications. Familiar with Standard Methods for the Examination of Dairy Products--- Knowledge of sample preparation and dilutions--- Knowledge of microbiology, plating techniques, reading and interpreting microbiological results--- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
