The Field Service Manager will lead and oversee the Regal Rexnord Industrial Services team in the US. This role requires a deep understanding of rotating equipment with particular focus on large gearing products, conveying and couplings. This role will also be responsible for Field Service strategy, pricing and optimization. A keen understanding of labor cost optimization, project management skills, and strong capabilities in capital planning and budgeting are also necessary.Responsibilities:1. Manage a team of 20+ technicians and 4-8 professionals during performance of field service activities in a variety of industries.2. Maintain a culture of safe work practices by coordinating weekly safety briefing from EHS. Target an ACCIDENT-FREE work history.3. Effectively manage a service fleet of 15+ service trucks. Work with fleet manager to determine best-practice service schedules for vehicles.4. Labor Cost Management: Identify opportunities to reduce labor costs through automation, process improvement, and workforce optimization, without compromising work quality and safety. Factor in-house labor vs. sub-contracting as necessary. 5. Capital Planning and Budgeting: Develop and manage the Field Service budget, identifying investment needs in equipment, technology, and human resources to enhance Field Service Sales and efficiency. 6. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as operations, quality, and engineering to ensure alignment and collaboration on key initiatives and projects.7. Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the Field Service team with particular focus on the deliverance of OEM-quality service.8. Talent Development: Mentor and develop talent within the team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the team is equipped with the skills and capabilities needed for success.9. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards in all Field Service activities and initiatives, prioritizing employee safety and well-being. Qualifications:*Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.* Proven experience in leading field service or engineering teams.* Strong understanding of IT.* Demonstrated ability to manage labor costs and drive efficiency improvements in technical operations.*Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.*Solid understanding of capital planning, budgeting, and financial analysis.*Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.*Proven track record of driving a culture of continuous improvement and fostering innovation in engineering processesBenefits |
