We are looking for an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental professional with previous ownership of radiation safety programs to help us reach our ambitious goals. As the Radiation Safety Lead, you will be responsible for all compliance activities related to Radiation Safety and will be responsible for implementing programs to accomplish Novartis and local regulations and policies. This role reports directly into the HSE Site Head. Key Responsibilities: * Function as the Site Radiation Safety subject matter expert and collaborate with operations and technical teams to safely manage radioactive materials from raw materials to finished product and waste disposal. * Manage the implementation and execution of the Radiation Safety roadmap defined by Novartis, working closely with all functions within the site and the broader Novartis organization. * Maintain knowledge of and ensure adherence to all regulatory compliance standards applicable to the site and Company including Radiation Safety, Governance, Business Continuity & Emergency Management and Environmental Health and Safety * Maintain a work environment that protects employees from radiation exposure. Maintain radiation safety program (personal monitoring program, maintain equipment monitoring and training requirements). * Ensure that environmental program for radiation waste is maintained according to the EPA/NRC regulations.
