Find your future with us.The F-22 SEIT (Systems Engineering Integration & Test) team in Berkeley, MO is seeking a systems engineer who can support both Air Vehicle and Mission Systems responsibilities. - This position will be involved early in capability development to help document the systems-level functional and physical architecture using MBSE modelling tools such as Cameo. - They will work with the project teams to develop requirements and ensure process rigor on Air Vehicle projects as well as Mission Systems projects.Tasks for this person will also include development and adherence to Agile and SAFe Agile processes for new development and redesign activities. - The qualified candidate will also play a key role in Risk, Issue, and Opportunity management across the F-22 program.Position Responsibilities: - Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
- Evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
- Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
- Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
- Supports the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Current Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or equivalent
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed occasionally Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
