Shift: This role is 2nd Shift, -Hourly Rate: $0.00 an hourThe current vacancy is for 2nd Shift. The hourly rate is $19.24 plus applicable shift premium. In this role you will report to the Production Lead and will work closely with the Quality Team.DUTIES:The SPC Inspector is responsible for the overall quality of product being produced by the line.
This position will conduct a several test to complete this task.RESPONSIBILITIES:Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to learn and recognize proper produce weights.Ability to check chipper screen size.Ability to recognize produce related defects.Ability to read a graduated cylinder and use scales.Ensure machine and surrounding area is kept neat and sanitary.Adapt to changing situations and be able to establish priorities.Must be able to coordinate several activities concurrently.Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, Crewleaders, QA, and Supervisors.Must be able to climb stairs.Ability to train employees as needed.Accurately complete all paperwork in a neat and orderly fashion.Must be dependable, self-motivated, and maintain an acceptable attendance record.Ability to read and interpret a variety of instructions/documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ensure actions remain consistent with plant safety goals and procedures.
