This position is responsible for delivering value through effective negotiation of IT Supplier contracts and for supporting value generation, sourcing, and profitability improvement initiatives to optimize indirect and corporate spend. Close interaction and coordination with internal partners and external suppliers is required. Success will be measured on spend addressed, savings achieved, and working capital impact. The position is based in Northville, Michigan and reports directly to the Executive Director, Corporate Indirect Procurement of the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Review and negotiate supplier contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions and that agreements meet company procurement policies and IT technical requirements.
- Engage with IT and Business stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Evaluate and execute renewals as needed.
- Manage requests ensuring proper review is completed including necessary approvals and upload final executed contract into the database.
- Knowledge of using tools such as request tracking, contract storage database and spend cube.
- Manage IT spend data for Professional Services and Hardware categories by tracking in the system and generating reports to communicate status.
- Assist with documentation, process improvements and communication of Procure to Pay process.
Minimum Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field Experience: 5+ years of IT Procurement and Sourcing experience Skills |
