Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine Research & Development is recruiting for a Senior Scientist, Retina Biomarkers within the Specialty Ophthalmology Biomarker Team located in Spring House PA. The Biomarker Team is composed of experts in Retinal Diseases and supports programs across the value chain in the Specialty Ophthalmology therapeutic area, both for biomarker discovery and development. The successful candidate: --- will be effective in the independent execution and troubleshooting of lab experiments for human-based in vitro stimulations, models and new assay development for disease understanding, target identification, and disease exploration. --- will serve as a Biomarker Program Lead for preclinical or clinical programs in the development and implementation of high caliber translational biomarker packages. --- will operate in a highly collaborative environment interacting with multiple internal and external stakeholders contributing high quality and timely deliverables as assessed by stakeholders such as the project team, the clinical trial team, and Biomarker leadership. --- will ensure delivery of completed data and analyses in support of key program milestones and drive technical excellence in translational science and biomarker research and contribute to the group's strategic direction. --- will follow best practices for Data Integrity complying with organization and company standard operating procedures in timely fashion, such as training and project time accounting. Responsibilities are as follows: --- Design and execute biomarker plans integrating both disease and pathway approaches to support portfolio programs --- Contribute to the strategies on molecular understanding of human diseases, patient stratification and biomarker-based endpoint translational strategies |
