POSITION: FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN These Positions are in IOWAPioneer Critical Power, subsidiary of Pioneer Power Solutions Inc. (Nasdaq: PPSI) offers the most advanced equipment and service solutions for onsite emergency solutions. At PCP, we specialize in cost effective service and repairs on all makes and models of commercial/industrial generators. We are seeking experienced field service generator technicians to join our team and help support our expanding business into Minnesota, Iowa and Florida.Job Duties

• Service, maintenance, and repairs on all makes and kW sizes of generators
• Inspect, Repair, Service and Start-Up Load Bank Test Requirements on Equipment
  • Troubleshoot all generator components including engine, alternator, controllers, wiring harnesses, safety devices, battery systems and cooling systems.
  • Start-up and load bank test equipment
  • Apply technical skills to identify the Problem and Cause of Failure through Logical Troubleshooting Steps, Determine Corrective Action
  • Repair and Troubleshoot Engines such as Cummins, Detroit Diesel, John Deere, MTU and Volvo, among others
    • Complete field service reports(FSR's) daily.Requirements
      • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
      • Clear criminal and driving records
      • Minimum of 3 years' of experience working with industrial power generations sets or similar transferrable skills
      • Experience with diesel and natural/LP gas engines, electrical switch gear, and automatic transfer switches
      • Must have your own set of general tools
      • Use of computers/mobile devices for web based service & work order system
      • Must be physically able to lift 75lbs with no restrictionsDesired Skills
        • Strong work ethic and the ability to work with little supervision
        • Strong written and verbal skills (English)
        • Independent self-starter
        • Excellent customer relationship skills
        • OEM Training & Certification a Plus
