Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for an Enterprise Messaging Engineer in the technology department of various office locations. Position Summary: Under the direction of the Enterprise Messaging Manager, the Messaging Engineer is responsible for the development and delivery of messaging systems. The Messaging Engineer will design, maintain and administer messaging related systems to ensure a secure, stable environment for the firm. Duties & Responsibilities: - Designs, manages and administers email security measures such as
- Email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
- Spam, Virus and content filtering
- URL rewriting and Attachment scanning
- Designs, manages and administers all email analysis utilities, tools and processes
- Designs, manages and administers all messaging systems (email, archival, spam, security, instant messaging)
- Designs, manages and administers Internet mail gateways
- Designs, manages and administers remote mail access systems
- Creates implementation plans
- Troubleshoots system issues and performs problem analysis to resolution
- Documents procedures and standards
- Administers and supports Microsoft Active directory as it pertains to Microsoft Exchange
- Develops and implements access, monitoring, control and documentation
- Participates in preparing and testing the disaster recovery plan
- Provides 24x7 response and assistance for all urgent and related responsibilities
- Provides subject matter expertise support to Help Desk and end users
- Creates, tests and manages scripts as needed for management and administration
- Supports other messaging administrators and engineers and acts as resource to other team members
- Participates in the on-call rotation process
- Performs other duties as assigned/required Skills & Competencies:
- Extensive knowledge of email security and authentication measures (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
- Significant experience implementing email delivery and security platforms including message/spam filtering, transport threats and vulnerabilities, intrusion detection, antivirus and antimalware
- Deep knowledge of Exchange 2016 management and troubleshooting
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online Protection and Exchange Online
- Demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise Vault email archiving management
- Demonstrated knowledge of windows servers and desktop messaging software
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to standards and documentation
- The ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
