Job Summary: This AMRAAM Production Program Operations Manager (POM) position is located at the Raytheon facility in Andover, MA. The POM is responsible for communicating all Program requirements, including baseline manufacturing schedules and alignment on significant events impacting factory performance. They will provide guidance on sequence of operations to help ensure that commitments can be met by working effectively across all Operations and Program teams. The position will lead, collaborate, and influence the factory and functional managers to support the process focused factories driving quality and performance for product deliveries. They will also be accountable for factory integration, consolidated program performance, and unique program requirements flow down to the factories as well as contractual performance to the customer (MOCAS). Specifically, this role will oversee all Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) operations activities to include Test Station relocations. Collaborate with the Test and Engineering teams to ensure successful integration in the factory that supports production readiness. Labor and Manufacturing schedules. Partner with factory leadership to align labor and build schedules that support financial commitments to the business. Hardware Management Team (HMT). Lead team meetings focused on improvement projects that support increased build rates, yield, and capacity improvements, and decrease hours-per-unit (HPU). The successful candidate will report to the Program Operations Lead located in in Tucson, AZ. This role is the primary interface between the Program Office Leadership, the other Functional leaders, the Operations factory leadership and partner/ align with the Production Program Operations Manager given the use of shared resources. This position is an onsite role. Responsibilities to Anticipate: - Establish credibility and trusted relationships with Raytheon Program leadership teams, Raytheon executive leadership, and the Customer.
- Execution of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and supporting SBU financial objectives including Labor Forecasting, Margin Expansion through R&O management, and support of bookings, sales, earnings, and cash (BSEC) sales milestones
- Manage all Operations domain activities: Proposal development, Estimates at Completion, Earned Value Management (EVM), Make/Buy/Where analysis and decisions, Line of Balance, Can-Build, Capacity, and Hours per Unit metrics and defining clear operational schedules, priorities, and goals for each SMC.
- Maximize Raytheon's operational performance by instilling a forward-looking approach to manufacturing, pro-actively identifying capacity/ throughput gaps, by leveraging the appropriate support teams to eliminate barriers and drive product deliveries.
- Able to work independently with minimal direction while leveraging the cross-functional team.
- Lead, collaborate and influence driving quality and performance for program deliverables, accountable for factory integration, consolidated program performance, and unique program requirements flow down.
- Support Operational Security (OPSEC) plan(s) execution and influence future security strategies.
- Communicate across programs, to identify, assess, collaborate, and resolve any conflicts with program requirements.
- Prepare and present information for various management reviews, summarizing operations performance to plan and any on-going production issues. Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of ten (10) years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of seven (7) years' experience.
- Experience with SAP or PRISM
- Experience managing support plans, completing basis of estimates (BOEs), and/or maintaining schedules.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Preferred Qualifications:
