The Production Planner works closely with Master Scheduling, Planning and Purchasing to analyze requirements and coordinate a production plan for an assigned production area. • Work closely Planning team regarding interpretation of the MRP workbench and applicable planning information to create and close discrete jobs and create purchase requisitions for assigned planner codes and products.
• Ensure materials and processes are available to achieve established production schedules.
• Participate and support the production planning meetings providing detailed updates and plan status.Are You Ready to
  • Monitor MRP action notice and related information available to define workload and material requirements that support on time delivery of customer sales order, escalating discrepancies as needed.
  • Establish and communicate daily production planning to Planning team and production staff. Monitors progress on priorities to assure completion of job to meet customer delivery schedule.What You'll Need
    • Associates Degree in business or technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Basic understanding of production planning/scheduling.
    • APICS certification a plus.
