The GE Aerospace Engineering Team needs you! -The LEAP engine is a culmination of cutting-edge technology, world-class reliability and unparalleled performance, and is the engine of choice to power the Airbus A320neo, the Boeing 737 MAX, and the COMAC C919 jet airliners.Why is this technology the engine of choice? The Senior Staff Mechanical Design Engineer: - Executes, provides guidance, and collaborates with GE Technical Experts on the design, analysis, and evaluation of design projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and LEAP product / program requirements
- Documents, prepares and presents technical data and results in technical program reviews and internal and external customers
- Demonstrates in-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work as well as mentor others
- Provides timely communications to team members on significant issues or developments and promote open dialogue
- Works on teams to lift up and support organizational initiativesRequired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
- At least 5 years experience in an engineering design positionDesired Characteristics:
