Description - ExternalThis -position provides delivery of patient care with a smooth transition from academic nurse to professional Registered Nurse (RN). -Must demonstrate the clinical ability to work as Primary RN on the Unit to which assigned. -Must be able to coordinate the delivery of patient care on the Unit; completes required documentation; participates inpatient/family teaching and discharge planning, effectively utilizing the Nursing Process. -Qualifications - ExternalMinimum EducationRecent graduate from an RN program at an accredited School of Nursing. - Must be scheduled to take the NCLEX and eligible for licensing as an RN in Kentucky.Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
