Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking motivated and talented Systems Engineers to join our Air Dominance team in the St. Louis, Missouri region. The Air Dominance team develops some of the most dynamic and technically engaging defense platforms and mission capabilities in the industry. The region is dynamic and growing as we support multiple new product development programs.As a member of the BDS program, you will apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. You will evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. - MQ-28 Ghost BatPosition Responsibilities: -
- Participate in all aspects of Systems Engineering throughout the full program lifecycle (concept definition, design, test, and production), using traditional and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methods
- Assist with definition of high level functional and performance requirements and verification methods, subsequent analysis, decomposition, and derivation of requirements, allocation of those lower-level requirements to physical and functional architectural elements, and tracking them through design, verification, integration, and operational validation
- Assists with risk assessments and generate mitigation plans to comply with system/customer requirements
- Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as DOORS, Cameo, and mathematical modeling and simulation to develop system definitions/architectures and perform trade studies
- Partner with subject matter experts and technology experts to execute the systems engineering statement of workThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. - The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Security Clearance: -This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience): -
- Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
