We are searching for Receptionist for a Distribution company located in the City of Industry.
The receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors, handling inquiries from the public and providing information related to the company.
Essential Job Functions
• Greet visitors as they enter into the company and direct to correct destination
• Deal with queries from customers and from the public
• General administrative and clerical support
• Receive and sort mail and deliveries
• Filing and data entry may be required at some locations
• Play a minor security role by monitoring access to the building by visitors
• Keep the reception and lobby area well organized, neat and tidy
• May be required to prepare coffee service at certain locations as well as keep the kitchen/lunch area stocked with supplies (coffee, sugar, cream, paper plates, etc.)

Minimum Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent experience
• 1 to 2 years working as a receptionist
• Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
• Must be professional in appearance and demeanor
• Familiar with general office equipment, including phones, faxes, copiers, scanners and printers
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
Abilities Required
• Ability to multi-task and handle multi phone lines
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Excellent customer service orientation
Physical Demands
• No heavy lifting is expected
• Sitting for extended periods is common
• Regular use of telephone and company email for communication is essential
• Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computers, copiers, FAX machine and/or scanners
