He/she supervises the work of the personnel under his/her immediate responsibilityPrimary Duties/responsibilities: - To achieve the objectives set by the plant manager: quality and quantity of products processed, losses, work accidents, etc.
- Coordinate the progress of the plant's work according to the production program.
- Coordinate the progress of the preparation of the production equipment according to the weekly planning.
- Provide information to the plant manager to update all KPIs of the production department.
- Follow up with the production staff on problems in order to make the necessary corrections.
- Analyze results during daily operational meetings in collaboration with the plant management team.
- Work in close collaboration with the process engineer.
- Participate in the Plant Management Team as an active member.
- Ensure and maintain a good working climate within his team.
- Ensure accountability of the personnel in terms of order and cleanliness to be respected in the plant.
- Carry out and document audits of tasks, work permits and maintenance of the premises.
- Ensure the application of health and safety rules, environmental protection and the behavior of the personnel.
- Ensure tasks are performed according to work instructions and procedures established under the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 programs.
- Document non-conformance events.
- All related tasks.QualificationsEducation / Experience / Background:
- DEC in chemical process technology or experience deemed relevant.
- Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes in the chemical and petrochemical field or hazardous waste operations.
- Bilingualism (asset).Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
