About the ACT Team Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is an evidence-based practice designed to provide comprehensive treatment & support services. ACT aims to provide intensive, highly integrated, community-based services from a multidisciplinary team of professionals. The target population is individuals ages 18 and over, who have a Serious Mental Illness who often have a co-occurring diagnosis of substance use disorder that impair their capability to live in the community. These individuals do not typically come into a clinic setting for traditional treatment. The ACT model aims to provide services in the most integrated settings as possible to maximize independent & community integration. The ACT Team takes the treatment service to them in their homes, shelters, sidewalks etc. Job Summary The Qualified Mental Health Professional provides recovery oriented, crisis and therapeutic case management to serve individuals with a severe and persistent mental illness. Services are offered in individual and group settings utilizing evidence based clinical practice and skills and in compliance with program standards. Provide an array of services to a mixed caseload of individuals with mental illness and/or addictions. This position may provide specialized services depending on area of assignment. The Benton County Behavioral Health Department is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional to join the ACT Team. This role delivers intensive and highly integrated community-based mental health services to a mixed caseload of individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance disorders as a member of the multi-disciplinary ACT Team. Services are provided in individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based clinical practices, harm reduction, trauma informed and skills that comply with program standards. This position includes a diverse array of job duties, including but not limited to, mental health assessment, services planning, crisis planning, and outreach. The Oregon Center of Excellence for Assertive Community Treatment (OCEACT) provides training and technical assistance to support new and existing Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) programs throughout Oregon. Annual salary range of: QMHP - Health Care Professional 2: $61,448 - $82,932 QMHP - Health Care Professional 3: $65,119 - $87,872 This position guarantees two salary raises within your first year. Increases are given at the end of the 6 month probationary period and at the 1 year anniversary, as long as your performance is in good standing! Increases are given until the maximum of the salary range is reached. For most employees who take advantage of health benefits the salary only makes up 60% of their total compensation. Health Care Professional 2 level: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or closely related field; AND One year of health experience providing mental health services; AND Must be registered as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) with Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO) or be able to obtain certification within 6 months of hire. Health Care Professional 3 level: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or closely related field; AND Two years of health experience providing mental health services; AND PsyD, LCSW, LPC, LMFT or equivalent licensure. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted. Please note candidates must have at least 6 months of actual work experience to be considered as equivalent. Special Requirements Hiring is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check. Valid Oregon driver's license. This position requires driving and may require use of a personal vehicle.
