Seeking Servers and Server's Assistants for a new restaurant, Ikigai, in Carlton, Oregon. Ikigai will serve soulful Asian cuisine and is located in the Willamette Valley Wine Country -- a top destination for wine and food enthusiasts throughout the world. Ikigai is located in an exceptional location right in the middle of Main Street in Carlton home to award winning wineries, fantastic views and a quaint walkable Main Street that boasts something for everyone. Ikigai will be a full-service restaurant, offering Asian fare including dumpling, noodles, ramen, sushi, sake, full-bar and local farm fresh produce. The menu is set up with a heavy emphasis on shareable dishes, so the better you are at painting a delicious picture, the more your ticket averages will rise. In search of Servers who can effectively manage a section, provide outstanding customer service to our customers, and work well with the team and managers. You must have a positive attitude, be a team player, enjoy working in a busy, fast paced environment, and be willing to do the dirty work (sometimes). We also intend to provide catering services providing an additional income opportunity. Most importantly, we are looking for the right fit with the team and atmosphere of the organization.
